COUNSELING FOR KIDS
Counseling for Kids is a program for children ages 3-18 who have experienced domestic violence. Counseling is provided by master’s level counselors. Services are provided free of charge and without billing insurance. While our counselors are trained to address issues related to domestic violence, including trauma, we serve the whole child and the child's family. This means that our counselors can also assist with co-occurring issues such as daily stressors, coping skills, attachment issues, anger management, divorce care, anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, PTSD, etc.
COUNSELING FOR ADULTS
Counseling is provided to clients experiencing or who have experienced domestic violence throughout our six-county service area. Clients can be referred to the program through Advocates, staff, and our various community partners. This service provides our clients with therapeutic support as they navigate the various stages of escape, healing, and rebuilding.
